I’m in Dubai and Mumbai, travelling between the two periodically. I’m focusing on building my own projects, learning and practising new and old skills and growing towards larger finished things. I am currently spending my time on:
- Producing videos, for the new Papernautic Youtube Channel and also my collaborative creative channel with my brother Yes I Do This Too
- Writing fiction and collaborating on illustrations and material for a new magazine of fiction, which is out soon.
- Honing my drawing on Figurehugger and working towards creating my own comics and graphic narratives.
- Relearning 3D graphics and VFX and also educating myself in basic game technologies to tackle things in both those areas over the next year.
- Also working on videos, though less hands on, for a travel-related projects that’s still in the early stages.
- Writing new articles for this site under Divergent Thinking, and also gradually working at refreshing old articles.
- Creating paper art and sculpture as Papernautic
- Preparing new material on education and matters of learning at Kindlehead
- Redesigning and restarting my exploration of Indian music over at IndianSong.org
That’s what I’m focusing on now. I’m only taking on design or development work if you have something really stellar to offer. If you feel you do and would like to take me on in an advisory or consultation capacity, please write to me with a proposal and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
I’m also glad to answer emails from strangers with interesting questions, so feel free to drop me a message.
I will update this page as my priorities change. Last update was March 2017.
Samir
Like all good ideas, the one for this page was borrowed from someone who had it first and more clearly. In this case, Derek Sivers
