I find the ability to see who is reading your site and then being able to follow them to their sites a very rewarding experience. About MyBlogLog, I’ve mostly been in the same boat as you are. The very fact that it took me so long to implement this widget shows how little attention I was paying it before.

That said, it is certainly going to get some more of my time now. I find the ability to see who is reading your site and then being able to follow them to their sites a very rewarding experience. Dry stats and figures have always been around, but the kind of live feedback that this provides makes for much more natural interaction with readers and visitors than tracking them down through your server logs. The MyBlogLog widget is meant to show up here in the right-most column just above the Alexa widget.
